Between Dunham and Frelighsburg, overlooking Selby Lake, the L'Espiègle estate is situated on a hillside prized for fruit growing for over a century. We operate on the simple principle that living soil produces richer, healthier grapes—essential criteria for crafting wines that can convey the flavors of our unique terroir.

If the grapes are good, the wine is good. That's why we put so much effort into the vineyard! In the cellar, we encourage the most natural expression of the grapes. No high technology, no excesses, and no unwanted additives. No standardization of taste. Each vintage, in its own way, conveys the language of time and the seasons.

We do not use any herbicides, carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic pesticides, or chemical fertilizers.
